...imagine waking to a beautiful sunrise followed by breakfast in the still calm of the gorgeous morning. You then spend the day fishing for Barramundi, Red emporer, Mackerel, Coral trout or Mud crabs.
Or
maybe you would like to climb up a hill or comb the beaches on a tropical
island. At the end of the day you'll generally be sitting on the back
deck, watching the most spectacular sunset while you enjoy a few cold
drinks and fresh oysters as the fish you caught that afternoon is being
prepared for your dinner (just like monday at the office!)
It's normal to catch several hundred fish on an extended trip (most of which are of course released to fight another day). Extended
trips can be tailored to suit both the fishing nut as well as those
wanting a totally relaxing holiday away from hustle, bustle and telephones!
This is the ideal way for couples to have the trip of a lifetime. Life
really does start "North of Cooktown".
Moana III is available for Remote Expeditions & Adventure charters from December to September each year. These trips are made to fit your desires and timetable but we recommend between 5-14 days.

We have had some good days fishing over the years on our boat Moana. However, our most recent trip of an extended holiday of 13 days around the Princess Charlotte Bay area was exceptional! Having had the boat extensively refurbished in 2002 and fully air-conditioned we were more than comfortable. Our enthusiastic skipper, Daniel McCarthy, added to our enjoyment by providing us with a great range of fishing options. Having travelled quite a bit of the world and seen some terrific places we would have to say that our time away on the boat is by far the most enjoyable. It's just so wonderful to be able to get away from it all up to the beautiful areas of Cape York. We really love cruising around the islands and catching plenty of fish. I can't ever remember seeing my husband, Max being so relaxed and enjoying himself so much. Well come to think of it… yes I can… it was the previous time we went away on Moana!
